Mr. Abdullah A. Ohaly

Mr. Ohaly has over 27 years of experience in management and financial control and currently holds the post of President for Eminent Packaging System Co. Bahrain. He was previously a Board member and Managing Director of the Tamimi Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until February 2009, during which he managed the following five companies: Tamimi Catering Co., Tamimi Construction Co., Tamimi Commercial Co., Tamimi Food Co. and Thrustboring Construction Co. Ltd. He was also the Chairman of the Board for Silvertech Middle East, U.A.E. Co. Ltd. until June 2009. Mr. Ohaly is Chairman of the Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee of Gulf Union Co-operative Insurance Co., Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and he is also Vice Chairman on the Board of Gulf Union Insurance & Reinsurance Company BSC, Bahrain. Mr. Ohaly holds an MBA in Management from City University, Seattle, U.S.A. and a BA in Management from Seattle University, U.S.A.
Mr. Fareed Y. Al Khalawi

Mr. Al Khalawi has over 40 years of experience in management within the corporate environment, with expertise in the development of business plans and strategies, mergers and acquisitions, asset management and financial planning, budget administration, operations analysis, cost-cutting and containment programs. He is the Founder and Chairman of International Developers Company and the Executive Director of Fareed Yousef Al Khalawi Engineering Consultants, both of which are based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company JSC, including being the President and Board Member of its 45 subsidiaries based in Germany, Austria, U.S.A, Norway, Turkey, South Africa, China, Egypt and the GCC. Mr. Al Khalawi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northrop University, Los Angeles, U.S.A.
Mr. Abdullah S. Bakhashab

Mr. Bakhashab is the Owner and General Manager of Abdullah S. Bakhashab Est. for Trading and Marketing Services. He has considerable experience in executive management by having occupied leading positions with 18 years working experience with an emphasis around organizing sporting events, marketing and sales. He possesses a wide range of skills including, but not limited to, Project Management and Implementation, Public Relations Management, Marketing Services, Data Analysis, Sales and Accounts Management. Mr. Bakhashab is the Owner and General Manager of AIM Creative Communications Agency, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Developers Co. Ltd., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Developers Co. Ltd. and Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation in Riyadh. He is a member of the Minaret Business Organization (MBO) Jeddah Chapter, and Board Member of various organizations such as Oyoun Jeddah Charitable Society, and a member of in Majid Society for Community Development. Mr. Bakhashab holds a BA in Accounting from King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Alwaled K. Al Moaither

Mr. Al Moaither has held a successful financial career for over 18 years with experience in various finance related positions. He is currently the General Manager of Group Treasury with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) since 2012 and has held various managerial posts with SABIC since 2000. SABIC is one of the global leaders in the petrochemical industries and Mr. Al Moaither has contributed to the development and maintaining of SABIC’s strategies, policies, mitigation procedures and guidelines, by ensuring compliance for all global operations and activities and defining the operational long, medium and short-term goals and objectives of SABIC, including human capital. Prior to SABIC, Mr. Al Moaither was with the Royal Saudi Air Force in their Finance department. Mr. Al Moaither is presently a Board Member of Jubail United Petrochemical Company, Saudi Arabia. He holds a B. Sc. (Hons) from King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a M.Sc. in Risk Management from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
Mr. Aref A. Al Kooheji

Mr. Al Kooheji is a seasoned banker with extensive expertise in corporate and investment banking, with over 30 years of working experience, mostly with global financial institutions including Citibank, Merrill Lynch, ANZ Grindlays Bank, American Express, Al Rajhi and Dubai Islamic Bank. Mr. Al Kooheji held key positions and served on the Board of many organisations (both financial and non-financial). He played key roles in securing, structuring and executing landmark transactions, and engaged in negotiation and acquisitions of various assets (regionally and globally) including banks, real estate, power, telecom, and many more. He helped in setting up companies from startups to maturity, some of which were subsequently listed. Mr. Al Kooheji served as Chairman of Liquidity Management Centre “LMC” (an Investment Bank in Bahrain owned by 4 major financial institutions) and served on the board of five (5) commercial Banks, telecom company, two (2) real estate development companies, a Securitization company, and three (3) Investment companies. Mr. Al Kooheji also served as Chairman of the “Islamic Finance Advisory Council” for DIFC, as Vice Chairman of “Islamic Conference Youth Forum” (a multilateral socially responsible organisation falling under the Organization of Islamic Countries "OIC") – Republic of Turkey, and he was also invited to serve as a Member of the Advisory Board to the Government of Kazakhstan "Future Generations Fund". Presently, Mr. Al Kooheji is an Independent Director of Saudi Venture Capital Investment Company in Saudi Arabia. He is certified by the “National Association of Securities Dealers” NASD in New York, USA for Series “7” and Series “3”; and holds a BSc from Bahrain University and an MBA from the University of Hull, United Kingdom.
Mr. Fahad A. Al-Hoshan
Mr. Al-Hoshan is currently the Chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer of Hoshanco Holding in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has over 23 years of experience in managing various companies under the umbrella of Hoshanco Holding whose portfolio of companies include: Hoshanco Investments Co., ASAS Real-Estate Co., Hoshan Pan Gulf Co., Hoshan Retail Trading Co., Hoshan Direct Sales Co., Hoshanco Graphic Arts, Hoshan Shared Service Co., Hoshan Real Estate Co. and Pan Mea Investments Co. He is a member of the Middle East Council, The Conference Board and a member of SHOPA (School, Home and Office Products Association) both based in the USA. Mr. Al-Hoshan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business from King Saud University in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has successfully completed executive courses in Strategic Think Tank, Risk Management, Critical Thinking, Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Development and Performance Management Systems (BSC) from IMD (Institute for Management Development) in Switzerland, and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
Mr. Khaled A. Al Duhaim
Mr. Al Duhaim has 26 years of working experience in the field of investment banking and is currently Head of International Funds and Portfolio Management in the Asset Management Division of Kuwait Investment Company (KIC) in Kuwait. Mr. Al Duhaim has managed several funds covering a wide range of markets since joining KIC in 1997, including European fixed income portfolios, Japanese and Australian bond markets, Islamic-based accounts, the KIC Global Strategy Funds as well as the Far East Equity and US Equity portfolios; in addition to being responsible for Investment Advisory Services. Prior to this, he was a Portfolio Manager/ Bond Trader in the Portfolio Management department of Kuwait Foreign Trading Contracting and Investment Co. in Kuwait. Mr. Al Duhaim is an Executive Director on the Board of KIC Global Strategy Fund Limited (Guernsey – United Kingdom). Mr. Al Duhaim holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Kuwait University.
Mr. Zaki M. Farsi

Mr. Farsi is the Owner and Founder of Consultant Engineer Zaki M. A. Farsi Group in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has over 46 years working experience in the field of engineering and urban/infrastructure planning, starting as the head of the city planning office of the western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Farsi is a Board member of Tamleek Real Estate Development Company and a Board member of the Saudi Building Materials Company (SBM) and Board Member of The Bilad Foundation for Press and Publication. He is also a Board member of the General Commission for Survey in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and serves as a member of various committees such as The Engineering Offices Committee in the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and the Saudi Council of Engineers. Mr. Farsi is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah. He is also a member of the first Board of the Saudi Umran Society in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a former member of the National Real Estate Development committee, Saudi British Business Council and was formerly on the Board and Executive Committees of Tehama Advertisement and Public Relations Company, Arab Islamic Bank and Dar Al Fikr Schools of which he is also a Founder. He holds an MSc from the University of California, Berkley, USA and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the San Francisco State University, U.S.A.
Mr. Ziyad F. Omar
Executive Director, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Prior to co-founding Gulf One, Mr. Omar founded a financial and management consulting firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a business advisory and consulting firm, Compass Consulting in Bahrain, which focused on providing advisory services for large corporations in the GCC. Mr. Omar has over 35 years of regional and international finance and banking experience. He has previously worked with The National Commercial Bank (NCB) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as Country Head of the Corporate Banking Group where his re-engineering of NCB’s multi-billion-dollar corporate banking portfolio resulted in a significantly improved risk/reward profile. He was also the Chief Financial Officer of Al Faisaliah Group where he created the Group Finance and Corporate Treasury. Mr. Omar also worked in various senior positions at the Saudi American Bank in Jeddah in the Corporate Banking and Structured Finance departments, where he co-pioneered the first securitization transaction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to returning to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he spent five years as a Systems Manager with Equitable Financial Companies (currently AXA) in California, U.S.A. Mr. Omar received his MBA in 1989 and a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1984 from California State University, Fresno, U.S.A.
